Doves Outreach
Sometime ago, the Lord whispered to me that my ministery would change just a bit, not much however, but that I would enjoy it very much. Recently, He has opened the door for me to enjoy communicating with newly found friends overseas. I came to found out that the five who connected with me all wanted me to come and "preach" or perhaps my husband could. I explained that going out of the country wasn't my calling and besides I am sick. All understood and so they expressed their needs, such as Bibles/Christian books, So I started asking you my readers on my Health Updates to join with me by giving money or books.
One woman gave me $200, others $50 and so on. I was able to send many boxes of Christian books/Bibles to these people. What I want to do with this link is to let you know about these groups.

#1 Outreach
Let's start with this outreach, RuTh's House.
SPIRITUAL LIFE CHURCH MINISTRY was founded in 2007 by Pastor Paul and his wife Mary, with a passion of reaching a harvest for the Kingdom of God and helping needy children. This is done by sharing the love of Christ. Pastor Paul is 31 and Mary is 26. They have two children, their first born's name, a girl, is Bahati and is 6 years old; she is in "class one" of school. Their son is 4 years old and he goes by Jr. He is in the Nursary school. Mary will soon have their 3rd child and a name for a boy and girl are already picked out. RuTh's house has some 10-11 children. They are in a remote area without electricity and poor roads. Update: They have a lovely baby boy named Mike. Your monies gave them a gift to start a maise lot and the corn is growing! Also, we were able to collect money for a well to be installed. Isn't that great! Now they need a cow, worth over $300. Please send your dollars for this needed necessity for their RuTh's home and the Orphans.
God is taking charge of this humble ministry. We will do it with the Lord at the helm, directing the way, guiding us and providing for us to give out of love.
Monthly, it takes approximately, $405.00 to support the children in RuTh's house. Any amount of money is appreciated. I also have sent many children's books and Bibles to this outreach. If you are moved by the Lord, we asked that on your check, please write on the memo where you would like the money to be given i.e. to Mission Outreach, or to Gentle Doves renewal of publication. Gifts to this #I outreach will be used for linens/blankets and food for the children, also Bibles to be given away as the people there are hungry for the Word of God.

She was affected during political crises and tribalism and is homeless, so she stays at the home with the children everyday and takes care of them and at night also. Along with these two helpers, Pastor Paul and his wife, Mary, teaches and takes care of the chiildren and started the home.
The children are in great need of clothing. If you can help out, please let me know. Sizes age 2-10 of good clean clothing. We would so appreciate your prayers foremost. To support one child's activity, 3 meals, and their daily upkeep is $1.5 US dollars per day. I'm not suggesting you support a child, but if you can send a Christmas gift of money or clothing to be used for the group of children, send it to Ruth Olson Ministries, 30090 Hay Crk. Trl., Red Wing, MN 55066. You will receive a tax deductible receipt and a great blessing because when one gives, he/she receives. No false promises, just a good old Scripture principle. See Matthew 13:12a.

#2 Outreach
God's Last Call Ministry in Omogonchoro-Kenya in East Africa has been Grace Nyabate's call on her heart from God. Grace is a widow of nine children, who is jobless and landless. She shares, "Our work has been marked out for us by our Heavenly Father. We are to take bibles and go forth to warn the world. We are to be God's helping hands in saving souls, channels through which His love day by day is to flow to the perishing ones. God gives each of us unique abilities for the purpose of sharing the Word."
During the rainy season, Grace slid and fell down. Her right leg hurt radiating to her back. It was very painful and even bending was a burden. She went to see a doctor who took x-rays which showed a "separation of the bones." Again, because of pain, she was forced to return to the doctor by walking to a highway and taking a vehicle where the doctor prescribed a "very expensive" drug. She didn't have the money so returned home to what is continued pain and discomfort.
Sending boxes of bibles to Grace is easy enough with the money others give me, but getting boxes to her takes a long time, way over a month. Also, she is one of the group God has given me that wants money to buy bibles in the native language. This would be VERY EASY IF I could get the money to send her. Just a $5.00 bill would help so very much. Please consider what the Lord would have you do to help Grace and her 9 children "stay above ground" so to speak and to answer her calling by the Lord Jesus to spread the Word of God. Update on Grace. She so needed a bed for the children as they sleep on the dirt floor and when it rains, they get wet and the bugs bother all of them. We were able to collect $100 for a bed. Praise the Lord!
For any of these outreaches, you will receive a tax deductiable slip and possibly a thank you note from Pastor Paul if you decide to help them (see #1 outreach.)

#3 Outreach
I received an email from a young man in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, named Kassahum Ayele. Kassahum informed me that he is in charge of his church's library and would I send books for the library. Well, this is right down my alley so to speak. I started collecting Christian books and Bibles through Thrift stores. I bought so many at this one store that the check-out lady asked me if I was starting a library. It was an excellent time to let her know, and those in line behind me, what I intended to do with the books. Not surprisingly, there was no comment from her. But she did give me a good price on the 30 some books I bought that day.
Along with the books I gathered, I included my own books. in the boxes I sent him. It wasn't soon afterwards that he asked me if he could copy my first book to circulate throughout the country land. He said it would really help the people there as they have the same problems that we do here when we live without Christ in our lives. I told him he could copy the book, Jesus Loves You This I Know, if he would copy the entire book and leave nothing out. Update: You can view the book on the Cover Page of Gentle Doves website. PLease pray as we have not heard from him in months and wondering what has happened.
Now he tells me he is translating the 2nd book and after that the 3rd book. To God be the glory, great things He has done and will do through these books and may I meet all of those affected by them when the Lord calls me home.
If you are moved by the Lord Jesus, join us in praying for a wife for Kassahun. I wrote him saying we were praying for a job for him and also a wife. He was happy with both prayers. Please join us. He also can use Bibles. Grace (see #2) is the only one who wants money for bibles in her language. These other ones I'm writing about give away English bibles with no problem with language barriers.
#4 Outreach
Miracle Sight Center Community is the ministry of Susan Muwanguzi and her Pastor Husband and live in Uganda, East Africa. They have different activities at their ministry besides raising goats for goat milk and sewing machines for those who need to learn to sew for daily work.
Recently, however, they both lost their own jobs and now have no rent for their humble home and ministry. The landlord keeps returning to their door asking for the rent. Susan is in despair. Among other things, her heart's desire is to have a child.
We have been praying for Susan and her husband. Her CD's are listed on Gentle Doves link, "Links to Christian Websites". She would love to sell her CD's but does not have the opportunity to do so as it takes money to get set up. Now she is not singing because of sores on her esophagus and also the uncertainty of their situation. Please pray for them, that they will not be evicted from their home and that they each can find a job to support their loves ones and their ministry.
If you would like to send her an email she would love that; she needs encouragement. Please tell her you know me and the ministry. Her email is: Susanmawanguzi@yahoo.com. Update: she and her husband a pastor have been looking for jobs. Finally Susan decided to go to school.
#5 Outreach
Pastor Zablon Keya and his wife, Truphena Keya live in Kenya, East Africa. They were the first ones whom the Lord had contact me. They are a lovely couple and have a church, starting another one, and are used mightily by the Lord in revivals.
They ask for bibles and Christian books which I've sent many boxes for which they are so thankful. They have also asked for bible dictionaries and study books too. They and all these other outreachs have always been greatful upon receiving spiritual Christian books, along with bibles that they give away. I think it was this church that had at the time only 1 bible within the group of believers. They begged me to come to teach them, but I finally got across to them that I cannot, but that we were praying very hard someone would come. Sure enough, the Lord answered those prayers by a friend pastor of theirs who has come now and has joined their little fellowship and goes out to hold revivals. The Lord is good.
Generally, I received emails from these friends almost weekly and some more than once a week. I am so grateful that the Lord has led you to this link. Please listen to how Jesus would have you help. And the Lord bless you who are already helping overseas through your church or parachurch ministries.
